The Padencov/Zerhusen Cousins LOVE Slade!

The Padencov/Zerhusen cousins LOVE Slade! As eager learners, they have not only excelled in all things academic, but the nurturing environment has developed their social skills and exercised their leadership abilities. The school’s use of positive re-enforcement encourages the students to support each other and “cheer for their peers.” As young Catholics, they have practiced their faith from a very young age and as they have grown spiritually, their desires to help others have expanded.

Their mothers are Slade graduates, too, having attended from pre-school and graduating in 2002 and 2006 (AND Grandma also attended in the 1960’s)! Slade prepared them for Catholic High School with rigorous academics (and the “hated”, but extremely valuable vocabulary books) and pushed the students to excel.

Becky (King) Padencov loved Slade so much that after receiving her college education, she returned to Slade as a teacher – something she decided she wanted to do when she was in 3rd grade! And Emily (King) Zerhusen not only has a daughter in middle school, but the school’s only set of triplets in 1st grade.

This family considers Slade to be a part of their family and is so thankful they've found a place that supports their children’s learning needs!
