Scrip Sales

HASA is once again offering a fundraising program for our community called “scrip.”

What is Scrip?

Scrip is a program where you purchase gift certificates from national and local retailers; the same gift cards that you would normally purchase in a store, and receive a credit in return (termed a rebate) from your purchase! Each retailer offers a different rebate percent that will be split between your tuition account and school for things like technology upgrades, classroom equipment, etc.

How Does it Work?

It’s simple, you buy a gift card for full value and a certain % is credited to your tuition account for the following school year and the school. For example, you purchase a $25 Old Navy gift card from scrip. Old Navy currently gives a 14% rebate. That means 7% ($1.75) will be credited to your tuition account and 7% ($1.75) will be credited to Slade. How easy is that?!

You earn money for our school and your tuition account without spending a single additional penny. Just spend your regular shopping dollars through purchasing gift cards through the scrip program! You can even ask family & friends to place orders too through their own accounts and designate their rebate to your child!

Ways to Order Gift Cards

Pay by Checking Account

  1. Go online at and set up an account with our school enrollment code C87A257428L12.
  2. Order gift cards you want through your account. Pay for your order by authorizing scrip to take the funds from your checking account (this is called Presto Pay). Scrip will not accept credit cards.

Write a Check

  1. Go online at and set up an account with our school enrollment code C87A257428L12.
  2. Place your order online through your personal account, send a check payable to MSCS for total amount of gift card order in an envelope to "Attn: Scrip Chairperson".
  3. Print your order and send into school with your check payable to MSCS in an envelope "Attn: Scrip Chairperson".

Pick Up Your Order

The Scrip Chairperson authorizes the orders through the Slade Scrip account the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. Orders can be picked up in person on the following Friday from 7:30–7:50 a.m. or 2:15–2:45 p.m. unless those dates fall on a school closure. In those instances pick up will be the very next school day. Contact the Scrip chairperson if other arrangements need to be made. A comprehensive list of retailers and the percentage earned is available online, as well as a printable order form.

50% of all revenues generated by April 30, 2020, by your family will be tracked and applied to your next year’s tuition.
