Monsignor Slade Catholic School will follow the delayed opening or school closing announcements for Anne Arundel County Public Schools with the exceptions listed below.

Visit www.aacps.org or monitor radio/TV stations for inclement weather postings for Anne Arundel County Public Schools.

• If the County schools open two hours late on a Friday, our school will not open unless otherwise notified.
• If the County opens (1) hour late on Friday, school will open 1 hour late.
• If the County schools announce no A.M. Kindergarten, our Kindergartens will be in session as ours is a full-day program.
• If Anne Arundel County closes early due to excessive heat, Monsignor Slade Catholic School will remain open, as our classrooms are air-conditioned.
  

On days when Anne Arundel County Public Schools are not in session, or for school-specific emergencies, Monsignor Slade Catholic School will make an independent decision regarding closures. In such cases, delayed opening or school closing information will be provided on the Daily Bulletin, located at the top left on the home page of Slade’s website. In addition, announcements will be made on local TV and radio stations.
