The Monsignor Slade Catholic School community stresses the uniqueness and dignity of each person. Faculty, staff and parents guide students to an awareness of their relationships with God and with others. Within a nurturing environment, each child is encouraged to develop a sense of religious truths and values and to respond to the Church's call to meet local, national, and global needs.

Respecting individual differences, we encourage critical thinking, creativity, and leadership. Strong fundamental skills are emphasized. We provide learning opportunities to meet the needs of the developing person: spiritual, social, intellectual, physical, emotional, and aesthetic.

The Catholic school alone cannot prepare its students to lead effective lives. Its greatest strength lies in ongoing collaboration with parents, who share with the school the responsibility for the academic and spiritual development of their children.
