Monsignor Slade Catholic School is located in northern Anne Arundel County on a 10.5 acre campus. The three story red brick building was erected in 1954 and houses Grades K - 8. Adjacent to the main building is our Edu-Care Center. The building is centrally air-conditioned and soundproofed due to its close proximity to Baltimore-Washington International Airport. The main building houses 31 classrooms, a music room, a computer lab, a well-equipped health room, and a fully automated Media Center. On the main level are our administrative offices and a spacious gymnasium/auditorium that was completely renovated in 2004. The auditorium is used for physical education classes, Masses, performing arts events, sports events, meetings, and social events. Located on the ground level is the school cafeteria and a large multi-purpose room, which are also used for school and community functions. Connected to this main building, by means of a tunnel, are additional classrooms, an art studio and office space.

The school building is well-maintained and provides a bright and cheerful environment for our students, faculty, and staff. The classrooms reflect a great deal of self-expression and creativity on both the parts of the students and teachers. The students' work is also displayed in our hallways to encourage and acknowledge their continuous effort.

Adjacent to the parking lot is a large playground used daily by our students for recess, physical education classes, and our Edu/Extended Care students. Various athletic teams also use this area for practice and games during their season.
